Seed the Need to Read

(Updated: March 20, 2025, 4:35 a.m.)

Join us for this family friendly event. Different craft and activity stations will be set up for kids around the gardens. A gardening story walk around the garden is a delightful way to spend family time together.

The seed library table will hold free seed packets, along with handouts on seed starting and seed saving. Free soil test kits will be available.

Guided walks through the gardens will highlight different native and perennial plants. Get answers to your gardening questions.  The short gardening videos will hopefully inspire you!

The vegetable garden story hour will be a fun way to engage kids to learn about composting.

Questions can be directed to Sue Bailes, subailes@yahoo.com.
