The Harnett County Cooperative Extension invites all county residents to join us in celebrating Farm-City Week 2026 and "The Changing Face of Agriculture" in Harnett County! This annual tradition highlights the vital role agriculture plays in our local economy, our food supply, and our everyday lives.

Mark your calendars for a fun, week-long lineup of events and activities for all ages:

• Baking Competition | Friday, November 13th
  Showcase your best homemade recipes and see who takes home top honors! More information coming soon!

• Ag Day | Saturday, November 14th 10AM - 2PM
  Bring the whole family out to enjoy hands-on agricultural displays, youth activities, and community connections. This years location will be in front of the Lillington Courthouse at 301 W Cornelius Harnett Blvd

• Farm Fresh Breakfast | Wednesday, November 18th 7:30AM - 10AM
  Start your morning with a delicious, locally sourced meal celebrating our agricultural roots. This free breakfast will be served at the RCL Building - 455 McKinney Parkway. The menu will be fluffy sweet potato pancakes, fresh eggs, and sausage.

• Awards Banquet | Thursday, November 19th
  Join us as we honor local leaders, partners, and farm families who make Harnett County’s agricultural community thrive. More information coming soon!
