We would like to invite all growers affected by Hurricane Florence to our Disaster Assistance Information Sessions on November 26 at 7:00 p.m. and November 28 at 9:00 a.m. at the Harnett County Agricultural Center.

Following the storm, there is assistance funding available for losses in commodities, forestry, livestock, and nursery and specialty crops in addition to agricultural land damages. These programs will be administered through FSA, Soil and Water, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the Forest Service. Our information sessions will cover eligibility, how funds will be disbursed, and applying for assistance.
