Collapse ▲Following the storm, there is assistance funding available for losses in commodities, forestry, livestock, and nursery and specialty crops in addition to agricultural land damages. These programs will be administered through FSA, Soil and Water, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the Forest Service.
Additionally, N.C. Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services has the Agricultural Disaster Program of 2018 that will allocate funds to counties under the disaster declaration following Florence. Growers with losses in traditional commodities, livestock, and nursery and specialty crops are encouraged to apply for this program. Deadline to apply is December 10.
